Prior to becoming a member of our team over 18 years ago, Andy was a regular customer who purchased a number of vehicles from the dealership. During this time Andy got an insight into how organised and efficient the dealership was which when the opportunity to join us arose, made the decision for him an easy one! Since joining Acklam Car Centre, Andy looked after many aspects of the business and has built up some fantastic relationships with our customers and suppliers, alongside Team Manager Jason. Now, he is extremely happy to be working as a Workshop Manager, ensuring  smooth running of the workshop and delivery of sales vehicles.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys watching football and is a big Newcastle United supporter. He also enjoys comedy shows but most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren Ava and Myles.

During his time at the dealership Andy has had the pleasure of driving a vast range of makes and models, but his favourite would have to be the new Land Rover Defender as its an ideal family vehicle.

Prior to becoming a member of our team over 5 years ago, Paul has been a mechanic for 32 years, equipping him with incalculable experience. Paul’s main interests include rallying and motorsport, in particular building rally cars and competing. Outside of work, Paul can be found driving simulators and spending time with his beloved son and daughter.

He's an enormous Middlesbrough Football Club fan following the team at home and away games within his role as a charity worker for the Middlesbrough disabled supporters association. He can also be found socialising, dining out and being an active committee member at the western social club.

Robert’s favourite car to date is the Audi RS6 but if he could have any car it would be the four door BMW M4.

Rob has been a mechanic from the age of 13 and since joining the team, he has become a leading part of the team, specialising in in-depth re-builds. Throughout his time at Acklam Car Centre, he displayed top class skills repairing all makes and models of cars.

In his spare time, Chris loves sharing his experiences and love for cars with his two twin girls and one boy.

Gary has joined the team to follow his passion working with cars. Outside of work, Gary enjoys messing on with his track cars along side helping to fix his friends’ and family’s cars. Gary also enjoys fishing and spending time with his dad and brother, but most importantly he enjoys spending time with his family and his daughter Maisie.

During his time at the dealership, Gary had the pleasure of driving a vast range of makes and models, but his favourite would have to be the Mercedes C63S as a weekend car and a Land Rover Discovery 5 as a family car.
